Pull up banners are great for drawing the attention of crowds to your store. By displaying them near your store or even a certain distance away you can help to draw the attention of potential customers to come and visit your store.
Our pull-up banners sizes are focused on the 2 most popular sizes. 85cm x 200cm and 62cm x 170cm. These two sizes are what most of our customers look out for. Most of our customers get the 85cm x 200cm as they want to use it for corporate or school events. If you find that our 85 x 200cm is a little too big for your liking, we have a smaller version the 62 x 170cm which is equally as popular.

Our pull-up banner is printed on high-quality polypropylene (PP) film. Strong, smooth, tear resistant, water-proof and crease-proof, it is a good choice for printing durable graphics that need to be flat. The media is scratch resistant and comes with a grey block out backing to ensure no light can shine through the banner and affect the visual impact. Additionally, the backing has anti-curl and anti-static properties.
If eco-credentials are important to your campaign, polypropylene is recyclable. Perfect for when you have a couple of hundred of these to dispose of after a trade show event.

Our banners generally don’t need to be laminated to be weather-resistant for short-term outdoor signage. But to add a touch of quality to a pull-up banner stand, we strongly recommend adding a pressure sensitive laminate. Adding laminate helps to enhance the print, makes your banners fully scratch & water resistant and protects your print from direct sunlight.

Our pull-up banner is relatively light, and it also comes with a securely padded carrying bag to protect the banner. These 2 combined makes it easy to transport the banner from one location to another. Designing a pull-up banner shouldn’t be difficult and following our simple tips below you should be in the perfect position to get the most from your banner.
Design Tip 1 – Keep key information at the top
Use the top of your pull-up banner to display your brand’s logo, call-to-action or any pertinent information. Why? Often, it’s the first place that new viewers will look at. It is important to have your main message at eye level so whether this is your company slogan, an image of a product or your website, it is most likely to grab someone’s attention as they walk past it.
Design Tip 2 –Think left to right
We are used to reading from left to right and from top to bottom. People scan and read banners in the exact same way. The difference is that the time spent on reading a banner is much less, so keep words to a minimum by only focusing on truly relevant information. More information can always be provided by your sales team or associated brochures and name-cards.
Design Tip 3 – Use high resolution imagery
Investing in high quality images will make the difference in how your pull-up banner stands out. Make sure your imagery is at least 300 DPI and the colours have been converted to CMYK as opposed to RGB. High-quality images will reflect well on your business, conveying professionalism.
If you are selecting an image from the internet, make sure they are of high resolution. Some sites that provide good quality image includes: www.shutterstock.com and www.vectorstock.com. Otherwise you can hire a professional photographer to take the image you required using a full frame DSLR.
If you wish to capture your images with your smartphone, ensure that there is adequate lighting to avoid having shadows in your photos. When using flash, do take note of camera glare that results in a circular bright halo, which can drastically reduce contrast in the image. Design Tip 4 – Include contact information
Contact details are usually found at the bottom of the banner so that your potential customers can reach out to you if they choose to. Nonetheless, contact details should be clearly visible – always include a website, phone number or even social media profiles. Quick response (QR) codes allow customers with smartphones to quickly visit your website, without the need of typing the URL address – they could be a fine addition to your design.
Design Tip 5 – Consider placement
When you’re creating your pull-up banner, you should have a general idea of where it’s likely to be used. How you’re planning on using your banner can influence the whole design and layout. For example:
- If you were planning on using it at an exhibition where the bottom half would be obscured, perhaps by a table, you would need to take this into account.
- A pull-up banner being used in a reception area should be on display fully, meaning more information can be incorporated into the design.
Ideally, a pull-up banner wouldn’t be partially blocked or hidden. But if this is likely to be the case, it’s far better for your banner design to take practical considerations into account. This means not placing any essential information on the lower half of the pull-up banner.
