Firstly, you should know that there are three kinds of window stickers available: opaque, translucent and transparent window stickers.
Opaque Window Stickers
Opaque window decal works just like our regular custom stickers. As your design is printed on white adhesive sticker material, the resulting print will have white on the unprinted areas.
These window stickers are placed on the outside of your shop so that everyone passing by your storefront can see your brand’s logo and advertisements. You don’t have to worry about your stickers fading, dissolving, or peeling away, because they are made of durable PVC material that can withstand any weather conditions.
Translucent Window Stickers
Translucent window decal stickers are initially confusing but are actually quite simple. They can be used as both inside and outside window stickers.
If you plan to put translucent window vinyl from the outside of your shop, the submitted artwork should be right side up. Just treat it like you would an opaque window vinyl. If you plan to stick the window vinyl from the inside, the artwork needs to be mirrored or reserved. This way people from the other side of the window will be able to see your artwork right side up.
Transparent Window Stickers
With custom transparent window decal stickers, you can still have the light in while adding that beautiful graphic to any window without blocking the view. Printed on clear PVC vinyl, our transparent window decals are great for retail or office applications. Display store hours or advertise promotions without obstructing light or visibility. They can be used for indoor or outdoor application for home or commercial purposes.
One can also choose to have an inside/outside application of clear window sign where the sign can be installed from inside/outside from the window and the graphics are visible outside for the advertising. They are very popular in putting up signs for company logos, store hours and so on. But do note that the colour vibrancy is slightly less as compared to opaque material.
